FOUNDER - AITRAILBLAZER

Constantine Vassilev

Founder of AITrailblazer. I build learning machines, and I publish their records.

The short version

I have built on neural networks and markets for three decades. Today that work is AITrailblazer: ATLAS-7, a daily market read graded on a public scoreboard; the DeltaSignal Decider, a model that grades SEC filings blind and improves on an adjudicated corpus; and an evaluation practice that audits the benchmarks other teams build on. I run the practice with my wife, Rada Vassileva.

How I got here

As a teenager in Bulgaria I sold software out of printed catalogs in physical computer shops: one disk, one short description, one click to install. The catalog was the business. At the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences I programmed neural networks on a hardware FORTH processor, a chip that executed FORTH natively, working up from the biology of the real neuron. I have been building learning machines ever since, through every winter and every boom the field has had.

What I believe

Trust is the product. Anyone can generate a confident answer now; the scarce thing is a record that can be checked. So everything here is dated and graded in public: predictions registered before the fact, verdicts with their counts, corrections printed at the same size as the original claim. If a number on our pages cannot be traced to its record, it does not ship.
